I was having difficulty sitting, as I mentioned to you, and can now sit with my family in the evening and even went to a concert for 2 hours.
We took a 2-hour car trip from our home in Central Illinois to Chicago last week-end and then sat for 2 hours at a formal dinner. I did very well - began to experience some issues with the sciatic nerve and went back to the hotel to my ice pack.

JE Cleveland, WI - I just wanted to let you know that I’ve been using the Sciata® seat for 2 weeks now & I really notice a difference between this device & all my other ones….it truly amazes me! I have used [another brand] pad, also hospital-grade wheelchair pads, etc. but the Sciata® seat is better than anything else I’ve ever used. It allows me to actually sit [thru] a concert, a church service, a 2 hr horse show, etc. & helps gets me thru the day when I need to be at my desk or in the car, etc. This is a wonderful product & I am glad I ordered it. I also like the small size…as you say, who needs to “broadcast” to everyone that our backs hurt? It fits into my tote bag & is very elegant when in use. In fact even those w/o back trouble have commented on how comfy it is for them. With the Sciata® seat, my [injured] sciatic nerve (the “bad” one) is now freely off-set, the troff allows my tailbone to “hover” w/o any compression & the other side firmly supports my “good” […] leg….just marvelous! Thank you for a great product and for allowing me to have some “normalcy” again in my life….the little things, like sitting comfortably, that until now, was simply not possible for more that about 15 minutes.

We got the notice from the post office today on the second Sciata® Seat. After having used the first one for two days, it has proven to be the best of several that I have tried over the past fifteen years! Therefore, I have decided to keep the second one as well. GJ Unalakleet, AK - I just want to tell you that I am so impressed with the seat. I ordered, as you know the smaller one to use on the small planes I fly in weekly... I could not believe how much more comfortable my flight was and I could actually get up when we landed without excruciating pain. The pain is there, but it wasn't as bad as it could be. I am ordering the larger one to use at my desk and will continue to travel with the smaller one. It fits the plane seat perfectly. I'm sorry that you were injured and had to invent this product, but I'm thankful for the product.
A friend/co-worker is going to order one also. [She] has so much pain also in her back/neck and is so excited about being able to fly more comfortably. You'll be hearing from her soon - if you haven't already.
Grand Junction, CO - I always sat on the seat in my recliner prior to surgery and it helped me. I have used it after lumbar surgery, setting in the recliner and it relieves the pressure on my coccyx, helping me with my tailbone pain. I use it going to church and I can sit through the hour, otherwise, I could not sit through worship.

Park City, UT - I had terrible sciatic nerve pain and was able to get a Sciata® Seat. For the time that I used it, I was in dire need and it made a huge difference. I could go out to dinner and sit down for 45 minutes to an hour and without it I could only sit for about 10 minutes. I would sit for about 15 minutes and then shift [the seat] forward or back or maybe twist it a bit and then I could sit successfully throughout dinner.
